LiveAbove Web Conference

“LiveAbove is a fast-paced interactive, live webcast event designed to allow high school juniors and seniors to look into the future as they prepare for the freedom and responsibility associated with graduation. The years following high school are often referred to as “the best years of your life.” Being ready to handle the change, opportunity and challenges sets these years up to be just that.

LiveAbove will address the top three issues that Ohio State University, LifeWay and Fuller Seminary research indicates contribute to a national 26% school dropout rate for College Freshmen. We will decode with students some of the reasons 70% of graduates from youth ministries take a break or leave the church altogether.

Addressing these issues in a true-to-life, interactive manner (texting, group discussion, and MSN chat), helps students who are looking to take the reins of their life after graduation, evaluate perspectives/influences and establish a course for their future: academically, financially and spiritually.

Become a “Host Site” for your students and community

Welcome to the Youth Transition Network Team. As a Host site you become a valuable member of a coalition that is working together to address the significant loss of youth from the church between the ages of 17 to 19. As a host site you will offer a venue for students to come be part of this preparation event without having to leave your building.

Every one of your students that register for the event will be followed up by the local ministry leaders on the community college or university campus they are heading to, helping them to form relationships with leaders and students before they arrive. Together we can motivate, prepare and connect your students to believers so that fewer students take a different road following graduation.
